- Sarokal技术与Veloce®仿真器的结合将使客户能够在硅片检测的前期和后期均可对4G和5G设计进行验证
西门子今日宣布，已就收购Sarokal Test Systems Oy的相关事宜达成协议。Sarokal Test Systems Oy位于芬兰奥卢，是为前传网络提供创新测试解决方案的供应商。前传网络由位于蜂窝网络“边缘”的中央射频控制器与射频头端（或天线塔）之间的链路组成。Sarokal的客户包括芯片组供应商、前传设备制造商和电信运营商，他们利用Sarokal的产品进行从前期设计到实施再到现场测试的整个过程的4G和5G网络设备的开发、测试和验证。
Siemens PLM Software全球总裁兼首席执行官Tony Hemmelgarn表示：“对Sarokal的收购将进一步证明我们对EDA和IC行业的承诺。在成功收购Mentor Graphics的基础上，我们持续加大战略投资，充分利用Mentor的现有优势，进一步扩大西门子面向IC行业的产品组合和服务。”
Sarokal的产品广泛应用于对各领域的传输规范的测试，其测试设备产品系列覆盖了蜂窝网络和有线传输系统测试的整个开发和维护流程，其技术专门用于射频（RF）问题检测。基于其对5G测试要求的预测，Sarokal的测试模型从一开始便设计为同时面向虚拟（数字化）环境和物理测试环境。

此收购交易还有待获得监管批准及满足其它惯例成交条件，预计将于2018年第一季度完成。交易条款未予披露。
